An introductory class that covers many of the basics for potential SAR K9 handlers, including but not limited to: breed considerations; scent theory; predicting scent movement; reading your dogs BLIs and certifications.

While event housing will not be available for pre-event courses and it is up to the participant to arrange their own housing, the event is holding a block of rooms at the nearby Embassy Suites.
